This signed value is for crankshaft position sensor equipped engines only and allows to adjust the overall spark advance similar to moving the camshaft position sensor used for earlier models.

For variables that have a scaling factor and/or a translational offset given, use this formula to calculate the output value:
output_value = (EEPROM_value * scale) + translate
