By activating and installing the specific database for your bike, the demo version will be made fully functional. The activation is fee-based and the licence fee is dependent on the number of ECM types, that shall be supported by the software.
You have to install the Mono runtime environment before installing the EcmSpy Software. The Mono runtime is available from the Mono download area. Please follow the installation instruction provided with the download.
When installing the EcmSpy software after the Mono Runtime Environment all required adjustment will take place by the setup program, otherwise you will have to adjust the Windows environment manually by adding the Mono destination folder to the PATH variable. Download the EcmSpy installer and double click the setup file. The installer will guide you through the setup procedure. The application's user guide can also be found in the menu at the left of this page.
If you are not a registered user, you have to register first. During registration you will be provided with a password. Please enter your verified e-mail address and your password below, select the version you want to download and push the "Download"-button.
Owners of PalmOS PDA can download a version for their PDA below. The sources of this application are available also and relased under the GPL.
The recent download supports a wireless connection to the ECM too, which will be established via a Bluetooth modem. To make use of this option, a Bluetooth enabled PDA and a Bluetooth modem is required. How to set up a Bluetooth modem for use with the ECM is described here.
